As an Accounting Economist, you will…

… have a wide network within our Nordic organization. You will be part of a team that reports to the group leader. The team is responsible for producing and quality-assuring the financial reporting for BNP Paribas Cardif Nordics' three legal entities and their branches. Your main tasks for one or more companies will include working with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, reconciliation of intercompany receivables and payables, and cost allocation between the Nordic entities. You will also work with ongoing bookkeeping, currency conversions, and VAT and tax reporting.

Your tasks will also include participating in audit work and preparing annual reports. In your role as an Accounting Economist, you will also be involved in projects that the department is working on. We expect you to continuously challenge traditional working methods to develop and streamline the work.

We are looking for someone who...

… has a degree in economics and at least three years of experience working as an Accounting Economist or a similar position. We see that you are an engaged and responsible person with the ability to plan and prioritize. You thrive and are inspired by working in a fast-paced environment and see it as a given to always deliver on time and with high quality. Furthermore, we see that you are meticulous, structured, and self-driven, enjoy working in a team, and are a team player who values and contributes to a good collaboration and joy.

Our requirements for you:

• Academic education in economics
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting (Experience with IFRS or K3 is an advantage)
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; other languages such as Norwegian and Danish are advantageous
• Experience in insurance or banking is an advantage
• Experience with Visma is also an advantage
